The International Material Data System (IMDS) is a material data system used by the automotive industry, according to rule 2000/53/EG, for older vehicles. According to IMDS all materials used in production by the automotive industry are recorded and managed, in order to respect the rules imposed on the automotive industry and suppliers by national and international norms, standards, laws and rules. By complying with IMDS, MICROTHERM products fulfil the material regulations of the automotive industry.
