A product, certified with the ENEC-sign ensures that the merchandise has open access to all countries which are part of the European Union including the Eastern European markets. The ENEC-symbol will replace the national test certification. At the same time the manufacturers recieve supporting documents about the compliance with the relevant European guidelines. Based on these documents the manufacturer can declare conformity and apply the CE-mark. An ENEC-certification consists not only of the product certification, but also includes an annual requalification, surveillance of the market and factory inspection.
