Pforzheim/Würm, 24th of November 2008 - the opening of the Shanghai office in April 2008 MICROTHERM enlarges its international sales team. The enourmous success after only 6 month of operation, the Chinese subsidiary shows that this expansion was the right decision.
In April 2008, MICROTHERM GmbH opened its Shanghai Rep office in the Building of China. Our aim is to provide all Chinese customers with service and supply of electronic components for temperature protection, control and regulation. This opening was an important milestone for the development of the Chinese market.
„The opening of this Chinese subsidiary was the next logical step for MICROTHERM, which has been manufacturing in several factories in the South of China since 1992. Representing the world´s largest market for electronic and electrical products, China is of major importance for MICROTHERM", explains Mr. Benz, Director of Sales for MICROTHERM GmbH.
Mr. Xuewei Hao, the Director of the sales office has been responsible for the subsidiary in Shanghai since it opened in 2008. From that location he covers Jingsu and Shandong provinces. "The increasing demand for MICROTHERM products is not only due to the quality. Chinese manufacturers appreciate the wide range and the quality of these products. Customers are not restricted in their production and have full flexibility with the choice of their thermo components", says Xuewei Hao with a smile.
Together with Triumph Fortune in Hong Kong and Kingfit, Guangzhou, both integral parts of the MICROTHERM group, MICROTHERM Shanghai will make its first public appearance at the "Tecnology Conference & Exhibition" in November this year. Multiple requests and full order books leave no doubt about the further expansion of the Chinese subsidiaries. Two further sales offices will follow in this hugh country in 2009.
