UL - Underwriters Laboratories

UL is the organization for certifications for product safety in the United States. The UL-mark is the most common proof that a product complies with American safety standards. The recognized Component Mark of UL (see picture) may be used for components, which are part of a complex product or system, which have been approved by UL for the US requirements.
